About Marty

Marty Hogan received a Masters of Social Work from the University of North Carolina and has worked as a clinical social worker in hospice care for almost 19 years. In addition to being a hospice professional, she has been a hospice caregiver for her parents and two brothers. She knows how demanding, lonely and stressful it can be to care for a dying loved one. All of her booklets include the compassionate, gentle advice and information she wishes she had been given when she was a hospice caregiver.
